Endemic Flowers of Hawaiʻi Ceramic Tile Magnets
Details
Ceramic tile magnets have been meticulously cleaned, sanded, and etched. They come in a variety of colors and styles.
Each design is akin to quilted patterns where the design is not a replica of the flowers but rather an interpretation of the flower through lines and negative space.
All flowers in this collection are endemic to Hawai'i which means they are found nowhere else in the world. They are sacred, special flora. Most of them are endangered or threatened.
It should be noted that some tiles are lighter than others so the designs vary depending on which tile they are matched with. These tiles offer a more subtle variation of our endemic flora designs.
The magnets have been securely attached to the tiles and will adorn your fridge or any other magnetic surface without falling off. These magnets are strong enough to hold up to 8 oz (i.e. postcards, to-do lists, receipts, reminders, thin pieces of paper).
Tiles are available in three MORI exclusive colors following: Static, Sapphire, and Snowfall.
Endemic flowers represented include: Waiʻaleʻale Debautia Naʻenaʻe, Puaʻala, Mauna Kea Dubautia, ʻOlulu, ʻĀhinahina, Nāʻū, Loulu, and ʻŌhiʻa lehua.
