ʻIʻiwi Iron-On Patch
‘I’iwi are essential pollinators for many native Hawaiian plants. Sadly, the Iʻiwi population are in decline. For instance, the Iʻiwi population on Kauaʻi has dropped 86% in their core habitat since 2000. This alarming trend is largely due to avian malaria, a disease spread through invasive mosquitoes.
