About DJ Toki: DJ TOKI began DJing in 2002. She is a founding member of the influential female Sisters In Sound DJ/ Promoter Crew (ISIS/ESCAPE). Born and based in Hawaii. Toki began building a collection of vinyl, living in San Francisco where she taught herself how to mix and beat match records on her own. She has an intense desire to spin a diversity of rhythmic styles from Drum and Bass, 2 Step, Electro, Hip Hop, Breakbeats, House and Techno. Since 2016, RAGAMUFFS has dropped their debut album, “Achy Luminescence,” set off on their first west coast tour, and recently opened for Mac DeMarco and The Unlikely Candidates at The Republik. The Ragamuffs cite artists such as Ingrid Michaelson, Mac DeMarco, and the Arctic Monkeys as some of their musical influences, and describe themselves as a “feel good indie” band. “To be a ‘Ragamuff,’ you are kind-hearted, genuine, and passionate about good music.
