Lei Day (the Tradition of Lei Giving) Greeting Card
Details
Flowers, leaves, seeds, feathers, and these days even money and candy, lei are given, gifted, bestowed, and celebrated all over Hawaii. There is even a day dedicated to them–May 1st–‘May Day is Lei Day!’
A symbol of love, friendship, celebration, honor, or greeting, it always feels so special to receive lei. This greeting card is of four natural lei (left to right: crown flower, Ti leaf, pikake, puakenikeni).
"I am hoping whoever receives these lei greeting cards feels the love and aloha–similar to that of receiving a lei."
Cards and envelopes are hand stamped and thus will come with their own unique variations that are characteristic of block printing techniques and hand made in general–no two are the same!
- Size: 5" x 7"
- Hand printed with original hand carved linoleum stamps
- Water based ink, kraft paper
